Robert Dean Hale, 83, of Avondale, passed away at 1:40 p.m. Tue. Jan. 12, 2021 at Genesis Hospital. He was born on April 5, 1937 in Zanesville, a son of the late Richard and Amelia Hale. He was a United States Army veteran. He was formerly employed at Burnham Corp. and Diamond Electronics. He was a member of Norval Park Church of Christ and the Roseville American Legion.
He is survived by his four children Tom (Renee) Hammers, Teressa (Gary) Hammers Simmons, Timothy Hale, and Tara Hale (Sabin Sowers). Eight grandchildren. Numerous great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild. Two brothers Richard Hale and Joseph Hale. One uncle Raymond Hale.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Donna (Clark)Hale.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Fri. Jan. 15, 2021 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sat. Jan. 16, 2021. Burial will be in Wesley Union Cemetery where Zanesville VFW and American Legion will conduct military honors. Masks are required at the visitation and service.
