Robert (Bob) Lee Matson, Jr., 65, of Zanesville, passed away on Friday September 3, 2021 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room. He was born on July 5, 1956 in Zanesville, a son of the late Bobby Lee and Leona (Bennett) Matson. He was a “jack of all trades”. He was ornery and could make everyone laugh. As a teenager, he was a drummer in a band. While he lived in Iowa, he was an equipment operator for the local township.

He is survived by three children Tamara (Jack) Wheeler, Timothy Matson,Sr. , and Tina Hussain. 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren with one more on the way. His siblings Christine (Terry) Paul, Connie Jo Newton, Pat (Dwane) Savage, Steve (Cathy) Matson, and Jeff Matson.

Per Bob’s wishes no services will be held at this time. William Thompson & Son Funeral Home in White Cottage is assisting the family.
