Rocky Joe Williams, Sr., 61, of Zanesville, passed away at 4:40 p.m. on Friday September 17, 2021 at Genesis Hospice. He was born on December 17, 1959 in Zanesville, a son of the late Loren and Rosalie (Grandstaff) Williams. He is survived by his wife Michelle A. (Newell) Williams. Four children Maryann Williams, Rocky Joe Williams, Jr., Cassy Williams, and Melinda Newell. Two grandchildren Josh and Violet. His siblings Wanda (Robert) Hill, Larry Williams, and Dianna Williams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Teresa Williams and three brothers Loren Williams, Jr., Mark Steven Williams, and Darin G. "Clyde" Williams. No services will be held at this time. William Thompson & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family.
