Rodney Lee Hazlett, 51, of Junction City, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 16, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on March 8, 1969 in Zanesville, Ohio. He is survived by his loving wife Marcy Hazlett, whom he married May 8, 2010. Children/step-children Tera Woods (Brian), Rodney Hazlett, Jr., Christina Hazlett, Robert Hazlett (Mariah), Amberly Norman (Randall), Matt Davis (Shaka), and Michael Davis. Grandchildren Jasper Hazlett, Kinsley and Colton Jones, Everly Hazlett, Bentlee Davis and Maria Teal. Siblings Paul Hazlett Jr.(Mary), Rob Hazlett (Walt), and Kimberly McCutcheon (William). His father Paul Hazlett, Sr. Brother-in-laws Paul Fisher and Steven (Sandie) Fisher. Father-in-law Paul Fisher (Virginia). Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Rollins. His mother-in-law Darlene Fisher. Grandchildren Ayla Rae Hazlett and Matthew Davis, Jr.
Rodney enjoyed camping, family vacations, and tinkering with old tractors. He was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church and being a Christian led Rodney to obtain his pastor's license on March 1, 2018.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tue. Jan. 19, 2021 at Rehoboth Baptist Church 5200 State Route 345 New Lexington with services to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor James Anderson officiating.
