Ruth Taggart, 96, of Zanesville, died at 3:50 a.m. Wed. July 17, 2024 at Willow Haven Nursing Home. She was born on Sept. 27, 1927 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Paul and Esther (Wogan) Stotts. She was a member of Fair Oaks Baptist Church, enjoyed camping, and was a very loving caregiver for her mother and siblings. Faith was the foundation she built her life on, always referring to herself as a child of God.

She is survived by one son Wayne (Debby) Anderson. One sister Glenna Dilts. One granddaughter Aimee Ruiz. One grandson Nick Anderson. Six great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild.

She was preceded in death by one daughter June Ann Anderson. One son Dale Anderson. Two granddaughters Fawn Anderson and Karen Anderson. Five brothers Jack Stotts, Dale Stotts, Ralph Stotts, Ronald Stotts, and Dwight Stotts. Four sisters Faye Soder, Wanda Creeks, Peg Bagley, and Gloria Wells.

Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday July 19, 2024 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sat. July 20, 2024 with Don Adams officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
