Samuel Ryan Brown, 29, of Hopewell, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday September 21, 2021. He was born on July 7, 1992 in Zanesville, a son of Dianna Lynn (Cox) Brown of Hopewell and the late John Thomas Brown, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather James Brown and one niece Kayleigh.
He leaves behind his mother Dianna. Also, the closest thing to a child, which was his dog of 13 years Biscuit, One brother John T. Brown, Jr. Sister-in-law Cassie Brown, three nieces Natalie, Amelia, and Melissa. One nephew Hunter. He also leaves behind his on and off, recently connected high school flame, Paige Tracey, whom he planned on marrying. One sister April (Nick) Cline and her four sons.
Sam loved to be around family and would never hesitate to help anyone. He had a huge heart and proved it nearly every day. He loved to hunt and fish, play board games, and hang out with his close friends and family. His absolute favorite part of his life was being an uncle. Nothing brought him more pride. He graduated from Mid-East in the HVAC program. He later went back to their adult program and graduated as an electrician. He eventually found his stride as a union laborer. He took pride in his work and loved his job. His death weighs on the hearts and minds of everyone who knew him. He was a great person, a fine son, grandson, and the greatest uncle. He will be truly missed and never forgotten.
