Steven (Woody) G. Winsor, age 62 of South Zanesville went to be with his lord on December 14th, 2019 at Genesis Hospital surrounded by his family and Pastor Dean Cole.
Steve was born on November 8, 1957 in Zanesville to his parents Richard (Dick) and Virginia (Ginny) Winsor of So. Zanesville. He attended Maysville High School.
Steve is survived by two brothers, William (Bill) & wife Robin Winsor Sr. of So. Zanesville, Craig and wife Terri Winsor of Zanesville. Sisters Suzanne and husband Dave Lane of So. Zanesville, Christine (Chris) and husband Mike Bronkar of Westerville, Chelly and husband Jim Matthew of Houston, TX; Melissa and husband Wayne Smith of Magnolia, TX. Son Dustin & fiance Lindsey Winsor of Zanesville, Daughter Melissa Winsor and significant other Chad Riffle. Two Granddaughters and one grandson. Many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Preceding him in death was his wife Donna (Huhn) Winsor, Grandparents Harold and Opal Winsor of Zanesville and Grandmother Nellie DeLong of Avondale.
Steve's love of motorcycles began when he started riding and racing them as a young teenager. Steve was well known for his talent of body work, painting and mechanical knowledge. Steve's last accomplishment was the building and custom paint work of a chopper motorcycle which won many trophies and a placed in several local and national magazines such as "Easy Rider". His work was done to perfection!
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday December 16, 2019 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday December 17, 2019 with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
