William "Bill" H. Terry

William H. "Bill" Terry, 82, of Zanesville, passed away early Saturday October 9, 2021 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room. He was born on March 9, 1939 in Zanesville, a son of the late Ralph Terry and Lousie (West) Terry Bauer. He had been a foreman at Sidwell Brothers for over 20 years. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed golfing with his boys and grandson. He was a loving, caring, and generous husband and dad who followed all his boys baseball and basketball games. He enjoyed playing the guitar and piano. He had a strong faith and was a member of Zane Trace Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife Joann Terry. Two sons Dan Terry and his significant other Liz Wecker and Kevin Terry. One grandson Nate Terry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Private funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 13, 2021 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage with David Beck officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care.
